Our first wedding since Covid-19 was a huge success! Thanks to so many amazing vendors! When this beautiful couple realized they could no longer have their wedding in Saint Vincent, they decided to tye the knot in their own backyard, where Michele at Best Day Ever Rentals brought their vision to life and created a fairy tale venue! Every little detail was thought out and planned meticulously, and we were beyond delighted and honored to be a part of this!
These two cuties!! High School Sweethearts!!!! They totally stole our hearts from the moment we met them! We met them at a graduation party for our daughter’s boyfriend (of all places, right? LOL). The bride is our daughter’s boyfriend’s sister and once we heard their story and got to know them, we knew we just had to work with them to get some gorgeous images for them (which they made super easy, but more on that later)!

We learned so much by observing and capturing this sweet bride and her groom (back in March…a bit behind on our blogging. Hehe)! I really don’t remember the last time we saw someone this joyful on what normally can be a bit of a stressful day. Yes! I know part of it is her personality. There is that. But we noticed that there’s much more to it than that. It all came down to a ONE little thing!

The day began with a flood!!! A washout...or so we all thought! As it poured at our home (not far from the ceremony site), we received a phone call from the Matron of Honor, letting us know that the ceremony site was completely flooded!
Oh, the beauty of this bride...and of this day - March 19, 2016! Katlyn & Matthew are absolutely adorable together! They are so comfortable with each other and bring out the best in each other - as it should be. You have to check out their love story and their awesome "teal" wedding!

So full of joy and laughter is this sweet bride! One of our absolute favorite things about her is how much she just laughs...at everything! She is so much fun to be around and her laughter is contagious. The Emerald Grande in Destin, Florida was the perfect place for her wedding. The light & the beauty of this place complimented her so well. Even in the midst of a difficult moment during the day (read on to find out more), she pressed on and continued to shine.
